Members Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

The Global Business Roundtable (GBR) is committed to fostering a Christ-centred environment built on integrity, professionalism, mutual respect, ethical leadership and accountability. This policy establishes the standards of conduct expected of all GBR members, leaders, representatives and participants.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all GBR members, leadership, chapter representatives, employees, volunteers and individuals representing the organisation at meetings, events, conferences, business engagements, community initiatives and online platforms.

3. Expected Standards of Conduct

All members are expected to:

  • Demonstrate integrity: Act honestly, ethically and transparently in all personal, professional and organisational dealings.

  • Uphold Christian values: Reflect Christlike character through humility, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, respect and servant leadership.

  • Promote respect: Treat all members, partners, stakeholders and participants with dignity, fairness and professionalism, regardless of their background or position.

  • Maintain professionalism: Honour commitments, respect organisational protocols and contribute constructively to GBR activities.

  • Exercise accountability: Take responsibility for actions and decisions, and comply with GBR’s policies, values and governance requirements.

  • Protect confidentiality: Safeguard sensitive organisational, personal and business information and respect applicable privacy requirements.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest: Disclose relevant personal or financial interests and refrain from abusing organisational positions for personal gain.

  • Use GBR resources responsibly: Protect the organisation’s name, reputation, branding, property and communication platforms from unauthorised or improper use.

4. Ethical Behaviour and Member Responsibilities

Members must refrain from harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, dishonesty, fraud, abuse of authority and any conduct that undermines the safety, dignity or reputation of GBR and its members.

All members are encouraged to foster unity, collaboration, constructive dialogue and positive relationships while upholding GBR’s mission, vision and Christian principles in both physical and digital environments.

5. Reporting and Disciplinary Action

Members are encouraged to report suspected misconduct or violations of this policy through the appropriate GBR leadership channels. All complaints should be handled fairly, confidentially and impartially, with reasonable protection against retaliation for individuals reporting concerns in good faith.

GBR reserves the right to investigate alleged violations and take appropriate disciplinary action, including verbal or written warnings, suspension or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the misconduct and applicable organisational procedures.

Affected members should be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to allegations and access to applicable appeal procedures.

6. Compliance and Commitment

All members and representatives are expected to familiarise themselves with and adhere to this policy. By participating in GBR activities, members commit to upholding its values, demonstrating ethical leadership and contributing to a respectful, inclusive and Christ-centred community.
