GBR Policies

The principles and standards that guide how GBR operates, serves its members, and upholds its Christ-centred values across every country it serves.

Policies That Reflect Our Values

GBR operates with integrity, transparency, and Biblical ethics. Our policies govern all aspects of organisational life, from member conduct and financial management to privacy, inclusion, and global engagement.

These policies apply to all GBR members, volunteers, staff, and leadership across all chapters and regions. Questions? Contact the Secretariat at info@thegbr.org.

Organisational Policies

Member Conduct

All members must conduct themselves with integrity and Christlike character at all GBR sessions, events, and platforms. GBR reserves the right to suspend or remove members acting inconsistently with its values.

All participants at GBR events must observe GBR's standards. Disruptive behaviour at any in-person or virtual event will result in removal and potential membership review.

Where a member has violated GBR's policies, this outlines the process for investigation and resolution, handled confidentially and in line with Biblical principles of justice and restoration.

Members in good standing have met their obligations. Only such members may vote on governance matters, hold positions, or apply for GBR programmes.

Members may raise formal complaints through the GBR Secretariat. All grievances are reviewed by the Ethics and Standards Committee, with outcomes communicated in writing.

Governance & Ethics

Board members, committee chairs, and staff must disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest, protecting GBR's resources and ensuring decisions serve the organisation's best interests.

All with access to confidential GBR information must maintain strict confidentiality. Unauthorised disclosure will be addressed under the Discipline Policy.

GBR provides a safe, confidential channel for reporting suspected wrongdoing without fear of retaliation. All reports are reviewed by the Ethics and Standards Committee with Biblical fairness.

Members may not use GBR platforms for anti-competitive conduct. GBR is committed to facilitating legitimate business growth that benefits members and society.

Inclusion & Belonging

Every member participates with dignity and respect, regardless of background, nationality, gender, age, or profession. Harassment is strictly prohibited and addressed through GBR's disciplinary procedures.

Rooted in the conviction that every person is created equal in God's image, GBR's programmes and community spaces are designed to be accessible, representative, and welcoming to all.

GBR ensures every member feels seen, valued, and empowered to contribute, celebrating diversity while uniting around a shared Biblical foundation.

Privacy & Data

Member data is used solely to administer membership and deliver programmes. GBR does not sell data without consent. Members may request access to or deletion of their data at any time.

Members representing GBR publicly must do so consistently with its Biblical and professional standards. Unauthorised use of GBR's name or logo is prohibited.

Finance & Stewardship

All resources are managed as Biblical stewardship. The Finance and Audit Committee oversees budgets, audits, and reporting, supporting the long-term sustainability of GBR's global mission.

All donations are managed in accordance with applicable laws and GBR's stewardship principles. For partnership enquiries, contact info@thegbr.org.

A compassionate pathway for qualifying members in financial hardship. Applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee. Enquiries should be directed confidentially to the GBR Secretariat.
